Veterans Enjoy Free Meal At Hancock County Fair

(WFIN) – Kathy’s Korner catered food to hundreds of veterans at the Hancock County Fair Wednesday evening.

Restaurant owner Matt Sterling said the goal was to feed over 500 veterans and he thinks they made that goal.

Hancock County Veterans Services executive director Nichole Coleman explained that the event was about much more than just food though.

After their meals veterans got visit several stations that were set up to go over benefits to them.
