Mohawk School Bus Involved In Thursday Morning Crash

No students were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus in Wyandot County Thursday morning. The collision involved a Mohawk school bus and happened on State Route 53, just north of Township Highway 11, around 7:10 a.m.
39-year-old Eric Godfrey of rural Tiffin was driving south when he hit the back of a car driven by 29-year-old Sarah Stromack of Lagrange. Stromack’s car then hit the back of a stopped school bus. Godfrey’s car flipped over in the southbound lane of the highway.
Upper Sandusky EMS took Godfrey to Wyandot Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Deputies cited Godfrey for failure to stop in the assured clear distance ahead.
