Hancock County To Repay Sales Tax Overpayments

Hancock County will have to repay $540,000 in sales tax overpayments.

County auditor Charity Rauschenberg explained how they will have to repay.

Rauschenberg said that the company receiving the money must remain confidential.

She was able to share that the overpayments were made in the 2014-2015 tax years.
