Campaign Expense Reports Filed For Findlay City Council Fifth Ward And Council-At-Large Seats

Campaign expense reports have been filed for some of the contested races in Findlay. The Courier reports only two of the Republican Findlay City Council-at-Large candidates filed expense reports. Matthias Leguire reported $1,000 in contributions and around $877 in expenses. For Tom Shindledecker, the Shindledecker for Council campaign said that about $298 was brought forward from a previous report but no money had been spent as of last week.
Grant Russel and Jeff Wobser are also running for the three open seats. The top three vote-getters will face Democrat Abby Hefflinger in the November general election.
There are three Republicans running for the 5th Ward seat of Findlay City Council. The newspaper reports Brian Bauman listed $3,210 in contributions and around 2,600 in expenses. Randy Greeno isn’t too far behind with $2,850 in contributions and just over $2,800 in expense. David Spitler reported $358 in collections and the same amount in expenses.
The candidate chosen during the primary will face Independent Corey Knight.
