Area Restaurants Gearing Up For College Tournament

Local restaurants are gearing up for the big college basketball tournaments this weekend. Clay Acheson from Logan’s Irish Pub said that though they don’t typically get a lot of business for the tournaments. He said that this could be because it follows St. Patrick’s Day at the restaurant but also could be because they’re not viewed as a sports bar. He said they will show the games anyways.

Business software company Womply explained that most restaurants and bars see an average increase of 2.4% in sales during this time. Acheson said that they, like many of the downtown restaurants and bars, will have specials going for the tournaments.
