Arson Under Investigation In Cloverdale Following Fire At Town Hall Building

Someone intentionally set fire to the town hall building in Cloverdale. The Ohio Fire Marshall’s Office says the early Sunday fire in western Putnam County is an active arson case. Mayor Thomas Burkhart tells the Putnam County Sentinel the Fire Marshall’s office isn’t releasing more information yet.

Firefighters from two villages responded to the fire around 4:20 a.m. Sunday. Burkhart says they got the flames out fast. They didn’t lose any records.
