ODOT Provides Update On Winter Operations

ODOT reports that road costs were down as winter came to a close. So far this year ODOT has used over 8,770 tons of salt to cover over 124,650 miles of roadways in Hancock County. At this time last year, they had used over 9,650 tons of salt, covering more than 131,690 miles.

This has cost ODOT over $1.18 million so far this year. This is down from over $1.19 million at this time last year.
