Community Day in Arcadia

We spent the entire day in Arcadia for our most recent Community Day. Like all of the cities we’ve visited so far this year, the pride throughout this community was incredible! Even before Big Dave went on air at 6:00 AM at Kathy’s Korner, and as Rex spent his afternoon at Salon KSA, it was obvious Arcadia is a town that cares. Not only does Arcadia care about it’s people, but it also cares about it’s school, parks, and businesses.

I had the pleasure of broadcasting live from Burns Financial from 3:00-7:00. We had our tent set up and were right on the corner where everyone could see us. People watched the broadcast from their porches, waved and said hi as they walked by, and honked their horns as they drove through downtown Arcadia. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly and eager to talk about why they love Arcadia. From kids excited for the football game that night, to lifelong citizens who have raised their families in this community, it was apparent that Arcadia holds a special place in people’s hearts.

Thanks for a memorable day, Arcadia! We can’t wait to do it again next year!

Don’t forget, if you want to see Arcadia’s band perform the National Anthem, you can find it on our Facebook page!
